Did you check for proper operation of the idle and full throttle switches? Also, the fuel injector wiring comes together in the harness near the thermostat housing. Make sure the connections are not corroded or intermittent. I had to cut out the whole mess and splice in new wiring on my 89. TEMiller

Hi All,

Last week I reported an interbucking problem, well Well I thought I had it solved. I went into the engine compartment and traced the three wires (there are three right?) that come out of the o2 wire that leads from the cat. All of them were disconnected.

Two of the wires, both white, were disconnected at the plug. The plug was very difficult to reconnect. I actually had to put a tie wrap on it to get it to stay together. I recognize that there could be a problem with the connection here. The other wire, the green (a ground?), was also disconnected.

I reconnected them but I'm still getting the bucking. Any thoughts? Could the fact that these were all disconnected have gummed something else up?

Chris
