sorry to hear the surgery didn't go well, between the previous graphic post
and my own imagination it sounds gruesome.

re the kits, who has the best price?  I see volkscafe has them at 575,  do
you know if that is missing anything?  I had planned on getting these,  sounds
like I better make my move.

well now they are $800+  for the same kit, IF you can find them.
most of the vendors who carried  them before are not carrying them anymore or
are just drop shipping them  from Overland.  this is because a certain part of
the kit is no longer  being made by VW of SA. (this info is coming from a
major wholesaler of  these kits)   So, those vendors who still have them, have
raised  the price on the remaining kits, and once they are gone , they are
gone.

anyway, i was hoping for a big brake setup, but at this point its  not looking
feasable.
