FWIW, I left out the word "ribbed" in my description of early bumpers as
opposed to 59 & later bumpers. Andrew is correct in pointing out that the
overriders are in fact a USA spec only. Pressed ribbed metal bumpers never
had overriders in the US or anywhere else as far as I know, but both style
bumpers are indeed "pressed" metal, but only the early ones have a rib in
the middle that was painted a different color than the rest of the bumper.
