Hi, We successfully removed the tinting from the rear window of one of our Cherokees. If I recall, we just peeled very carefully with the help of a single edge razor blade when needed. Afterward there was adhesive to be removed by careful rubbing parallel to the wires using some common solvent. I think it was either isopropyl alcohol or naphtha (charcoal lighter). YMMV Good luck.
