I had a very bad experience with Progressive. I had a 240Z hit in the rear. They had an "independent appraiser" claim "there are cars in my area just like mine" that were for sale and this was where they got the vehicles value. Mean while I had not seen another 240z myself in years. Progressive stated that "that is all we are obligated to do" I sat on the claim until the statue of limitations were going to run out (2 years in PA) When the the claim was about to be turned over to the state insurance commission, then and only then they made a reasonable settlement. I would not recommend Progressive to my worst enemy. ERic
