Update on that Westy!
    I drove across the state yesterday to check it out. The rear window is
gone. the handle to the slider is gone. The tires all need to be replaced.
The engine doesn't look horrible but has 215,000 miles on it. this is the
standard vanagon (not GL). The interior is a unique turqoise and blue
pinstripe and dirty. The cabinets look in decent shape. The exterior is
tired. Rear bumper is squashed. It's white with an interesting stock
pinstripe. There's a little rust but nothing to bad yet and a couple dings
in the rear corners. The poptop is in horrible shape. Lots of mildew and
the skylight is busted up. My conclusion, It would take too much money to
save her. A better parts car than anything.
