If you read the my 1st post, at the bottom, you will see that I am
not asking about the cylinder head seal/gasket.
This is a coolant flange with a nipple for a small coolant hose attachment that is bolted to the top of the right rear cylinder head on a 2.1 Syncro WBX.

My thinking is that as long as there is a clean surface on both sides just a plain gasket will do.
