Do the upper ball joints at the same time - you've got the control arm in your hand anyway, and the ball joints are really cheap. You are going to need an alignment afterwards anyway. I went all the way and replaced the lower control arm bushings at the same time, and now Dixie (231,000 miles) rides like a Cadillac!
