Thanks to all who replied and specified the year of the big change. I know they are different, 'cuz I wanted to put the "good" doors from my '91 on my '84. That's when I found out about the differences. I checked first between the '91 and the '85, and saw it would work, so I thought I was home free. Alas, the year of the grille and engine change did not co-incide with the year of the door change. Too lucky for me, I guess.... > > Dana Showers wrote:Does anyone know if the front and sliding doors from a 90 automatic > non-Westy will fit into an 85 4 speed Westy? > > btw - my brother is parting out his 90 Auto vanagon (after I am done with > it) if anybody needs something (near Harrisburg, PA - zip 17013). > Evan Mac Donald > > 1984 Wolfburg > 1985 GL 7 Pass. > 1991 Carat Weekender > |
