Subject: new propane tank - question
Content-Type: text/plain

I finally decided to spend the money on a new propane tank on my '85 Subaru-Westy. When I bought the Westy (not running) the p.o. said everything was working and it wasn't until I got the Subie in and running that I discovered the propane tank was toast (burned at some time in the past) and also badly rusted. I was advised by a couple of different mechanics not to try to fix it.

The new tank is now in - and I'm ready to get it filled with propane. After reading some recent comments about fires, I'm a little nervous. Are there any potential problems I should look for? I know the tank is new, but what about the lines to the stove, fridge? What should I watch for?

Maggie '85 Subaru Westy "Anne Bonney"
