Make sure that the tank is turned off when filling. Familiarize yourself with the propane lines going to the fridge and stove. Check to make sure all connections are tight, it helps to be a contortionist as you try to get the wrenches up around in back of the stove. When you turn the valve 'on' at the tank, put soapy water around each connection to search for bubbles (leaks). Also one can tightly shut the van up and open the tank valve and sniff, sniff, sniff around inside the van for odors.

You may consider R&Ring the fridge to clean out the burn chamber, and R&Ring the stove/sink top to check connections.
