Since I own a Corrado (in addition to my other fleet of Vanagons...) I guess I should say something...

The Recaro seats in the Corrado are great. Perfect support for the back and they have high side bolsters so I don't slide in the seat. I suspect that particular design wouldn't work well in the Vanagon. The high side bolsters would make it harder to get into your seat (in the Corrado you are stepping down in to the car, not up.) Additionally your legs are oriented differently) straight out ahead in the Corrado, instead of more down in the Vanagon.

However, Recaro makes a variety of seats. I'd really like to get a set that have extendable thigh support (the ones GoWesty has don't have that feature). I would still prefer to have the armrests on both sides.
