NVC, Peevish Gripe, Not Friday and I apologize . . . but

Just got back from a very sweet weekend camping trip up at 6,000 in the Laguna Mountains behind San Diego, CA. Lovely spot, we had a beautiful view. Would have been even sweeter if the folks that own those behemoth pickup trucks, SUVs, and late-model cars DIDN'T INSIST ON LOCKING THEIR VEHICLES THE SECOND THEY GOT MORE THAN 30 FEET AWAY! Friggin' BEEPS of their horns at night are jolting and annoying. What are these people afraid of? That marauders are going to sweep through the campground in the middle of the night, stealing their precious car stereos or something?

Gripe, whine, grumble.
