An interesting idea... I bought some stainless eye hooks year ago with the idea of replacing some of the mounting bolts with them, so the eye would make a good tie point for a tarp. But I never got around to it, and we now have an Apollo awning on our '82, so no need.

Which reminds me, a co-worker just bought an '84, which has a PVC pipe mounted across the rear tow hooks for storing something. I need to ask them what it's for, possibly those telescoping tarp poles.
