When I replaced my canvas with the new 3 window cotton canvas I thought of
spending the extra money and buying the acrylic version instead.
I ended up just going with the cotton version and I am happy with how it
breathes and is really easy to deal with
when you open and close the top.

The real solution IMHO is a simple removeable rain fly that can attach to
the pop top and angle out to the front over the luggage rack.

I have asked around and the area that seems to get most wet during rain with
the top up is the front two lower corners.
