and for the next few hundred miles (or so) it burns all this gunk out  the
tailpipe causing
a worse reading than if you would have left it  alone.  I don't remember his
words exactly,
but I do remember him  saying that everyone changes their oil before the
inspection and
that  "thats the worst thing you can do."


    Gotta disagree with this one.  Old oil has a  high sulphur content which
fouls the emissions test.
