Thanks Mark, I'll pull the 43 relay and see what happens. I installed a 7k tach (TiiCo Engine Conv) where my clock used to be, so I suppose now I'm tach equiped. FYI, I installed that years ago, this falshing light thing is recent. Oh and I have an 86 so hopefully the 43 relay is easy to find... I dread pulling my fuse block because even before I added relays for my headlight the thing was a monster having already had rear (westfalia weekender) air conditioning in back and dealer added crusie control there are so many freaking relays stuffed in there it takes considereable effeort to get the thing back in... and the "main power" wires are so freaking short to that I can only pull the fuse block out about 2-3 inches before I start have wires disconnect themselves...

Anyway, I might get a chance to fiddle with it this weekend, I'll let the list know if I get it fixed... or not.... thanks again for the adivce

-Jon
