RE: Nearly Bought an EVC Stan, I went through some of the same. Whe I was replacing the '85 I looked at two later model EVC's (97's IIRC) but four things stopped me. First, the price, $10,000 or better above what I could get a good '90 or '91 for. Second, the cost of parts and maintenance on the things. Third, the interior design with the main storage closet blocked when the bed was down. (I normally leave the bed down when camped). And last, no personality. And don't ask me to define that, but that is the best way to describe it. I can't imagine not giving a name to my Vanagon Westy, and I can't imagine coming up with a name for a Eurovan. |
