The first time I lubed the bearing and that freed everything up and the fan worked great! I did it again a couple of months later and replaced the fan that time. It was winter in Michigan and I really needed the blower. Having those clips before hand is important, almost as important as putting a new fan motor in <g>. Too much work to have to do twice... as I found out.
