You might not know it from my frequent, often rambling and sometimes marginally on-topic posts, but I do have a conscious when it comes to flooding the archives and everyone's inbox with emails. Three times out of four, I write the listmember directly who asks a question that 1. has been covered a lot of times 2. is the kind of thing that I and more experienced mechanics have done many times, but may be news to people who are having to get their hands dirty simply because they own a vanagon. Most people on the list don't need to hear it again. But more and more I'm getting these autoblockers (in the last two weeks, anyway). If the trend keeps up it will be a pretty small group of us actually communicating. Jim
