The problem with the lug nuts is not the lug wrench. It's the guy at the tire shop that has his air gun turned all the way up and puts about 500 lbs of torque on the nuts. Whenever i get back from a tire shop i immediately go out and get the big breaker bar and loosen the lugnuts. Then i re torque the nuts to about 125 to 150 lbs. with a torque wrench. If i ever get a flat along the highway i thank myself for going thru the effort to re torque. The factory lug wrench works fine under these conditions. |
