Subject: WTB. urgently: clutch hydraulic line that attaches to slave
              cylinder
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi, Looks like I found the slow leak in my clutch/brake lines: A spot worn thin on the metal section that connects the slave to the rubber hose on the transmission. Its about 12 inches long.

Does anyone have one of these, or know where to get one? I'm a little confused on the part numbers, as to what interchanges: I have an 84, which comes up as 251 721 479C in the Bentley. But, I have an 094 transmission case, with a locking diff., so it uses 479D or F. However I reused the old line on the new tranny case, so the 479C and the 479D should be interchangeable. But the 479D is NLA, and the 479C is $70! 1985 and up 2wd seem to use 251 271 477J, I have no idea if this interchanges. Anyone know?

Ideally, I would like to buy this off an '84 if someone has it, or if someone can take digital pictures of the one off a later model to see if it interchanges that would be great, too. I will try to make it worthwhile for someone to get this sent off quickly, as I am moving next week and really don't want to have to tow the van.

Thanks, Jeff Kennedy Tucson, AZ
