That's great, if only I was using a Type IV motor I'd have no problem. I need it for a waterboxer, that is the problem. I have run aftermarket single and dual carbs on Type 4 engined VW vans for many years. I want to put a waterboxer engine into a Thing, with a carb. The manifold pattern on the head is very different
