Does anyone know where the actual archives for the mail list are kept
Are they in a database rather than html files on disk ?
It looks like wa.exe knows how to retreive the archives but I have never
seen this
archive tool anyone know anything about it ?

Normally I can use a url like this
http://www.google.ca/custom?sitesearch=gerry.vanagon.com
to search but that never searches any of the mail archives

the http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?S1=vanagon
is quite SLOW & not all that accurate ...

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
