Congratulations! (In a few years, I'll forward my sympathies ;-) Red River campground near Questa was nice. Also, there are many nice spots along Hwy 518 that goes through Carson Nat. Forest. The won near Truchas Peak comes to mind, and there is a nice hike to the summit (not very easy one though). Bandelier Nat. Monument is great as well. A bit more crowded but spectacular scenery. Aaron, I would the whole time in Chaco. It was fantastic, and my only regret is that we only stayed two nights. Immense. good luck, james
