Subject: A transmission seal question for the Pros!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

This is a question for one to our professional list members.

I'm replacing the 020 144 711A plastic Bushing and the 020 141 733D Seal on the Shift Rod of a '84 DU 091 transmission and I don't know which way the Seal fits. Does the SEAL fit with the round spring and the part number on the outside or the inside? It looks like it can go either way.

You can reply to me at email99@bellsouth.net

Thanks, Ed McLean
