The best advise? Remove the switch and wire original rad switch back the way it was.Controlling fan from inside does nothing to solve real problem - leaks in coolant system.No, not coolant leaks, air leaks. Air inside cooling system causes high temps due to blocking flow If there is reduced flow fan will not turn on but even if it was on it will not do much So, check all hoses and clamps for signs of leaks Of course, under Vanagon Leon
