The Vanagon doorhandle is another moronic bit of VW design. Show it someone who has never seen one and they will not know how to close an open slider; they will not ba able to open it from the minside withpout a bit of dicking around. VW invented the sliding van door, but WHY couldn't VW swallow its pride and copy the early (60s) Hiace handles, which are like those of modern cars? Intuitive, light to use. -- Regards Andrew
