I got back from vacation earlier this evening and I just saw this post about
the Porsche Vanagon on The Samba.


As many of ya'll know, I too have a Porsche powered Vanagon ('87 Vanagon GL,
'87 911 3.2 Carrera engine & transmission). I'd be afraid of this one. For
one, the asking price is a mere $3,000. Have you ever priced a Porsche
engine? Well, they ain't cheap! My 3.2 engine alone cost $7,500.00 - and
that is just for the engine. Granted a 3.2 costs more than a 2.7, but still,
it shouldn't be this cheap.


I suspect that this Vanagon is priced at $3,000 for a reason.
