Hi Barb if your having a locksmith do it make sure they dont just stick a key in and grind off the tumbleres that stick out. yes the key will work but you loose in the long run. ive had good luck with my vw dealer with just taking them the door handles and they take the code off of the lock and cut a new key. this has worked for me but others havent been as lucky. good luck. c-ya Jonce >Does anybody know a locksmith in GR/Lansing area who can re-key my door locks? I have never had keys for the 2 front doors, the slider and hatch are different keys as is the ignition! Before I move into the van full time, next month I would like to at least get the doors keyed the same.
