if your having a locksmith do it make sure they dont just stick a key in and grind off the tumbleres that stick out. yes the key will work but you loose in the
long run. ive had good luck with my vw dealer with just taking them the door handles and they take the code off of the lock and cut a new key. this has
worked for me but others havent been as lucky. good luck. c-ya Jonce
