Not entirely sure, but I suspect the injectors may not be able to properly atomize the fuel given that this is a direct injection engine (no pre-chambers) and are designed to pulse the fuel, rather than squirt in one singular event--this is supposed to be handled by an electro-mechanical injection pump, rather than an all-mechanical 1.6TD (indirect injection/pre-chambers) pump. Kind of a bastard-child, but still a good deal, if only for the core value of the individual components. If it were closer, I'd be all over it.
