For those that are interested in buying a new (to you) Westy, I'd personally try something like autotrader.com or the Westfalia owners list. We bought ours last year over the autotrader.com site and it turned out to be an excellent vehicle with 79,000 original miles (on an 88). Also, GoWesty's has the classified listings which kind of combines different listings. GoWesty itself is kind of expensive since you're getting a van in top condition with a lot of reconditioning. Just saw an 88 that went for $30,000!! The Westfalia owners site gives you a good listing from all over the U.S. and Canada. This westfalia-enterprises.com sounds REALLY scary. Nice to have the list to give us a "heads up"! Sharon Mendonca 88 Vanagon GL 88 Westy |
