well i pulled out my old pump and it was what seemed to be a non german/after market model replaced with a HEPU pump, and it looks to be in a better design then the failed unit. The bearing in my old pump was totaly fried, and held up just in enuff time to get all the needed parts, this is a mean job, water pump is just a back breaker, and tester of finger tips and mind.
