I have been using a plat cat heater for about 10 years and have been happy with the heat it puts out and it's efficiency. It was a PITA to install due to the large hole in the floor for the exhaust and plumbing the LP, but worth it. Since it is radiant type heater it feels more like a fireplace. Does not heat the air like a forced air furnace does, so you need to close to it to get warm. Cost me about $400 back then. Not cheap, but less than a Propex probably. Since my 90 has no heater, I am open to Propex. Keith Ovregaard 84 Westy "Brownie" Solar Charged Camper 90 Westy Syncro (No name yet for the pastel white box) |
