I thought these prices might be of interest 5 years from now when someone accidently pulls them up in the archives. Will they seem low or high to the future listees? These are from my 7-11 gas station. Monday $2.63/gallon Tuesday $$2.69 Wednesday $2.79/gallon Thursday $2.97/gallon Friday $3.29/gallon Satuerday $3.49/gallon(out of regular so gas is $3.59). Many gas stations are out of gas in the Washington DC area today. It seems Sunday prices will be about 20 cents higher. The roads carry far fewer vehicles lately.I have been seeing lots of bicycles and people walking, so please be careful when driving. There is probably lots of gas at resorts and the beach,as many will not want to risk driving there. When Tuesday comes, and the new work week begins, it is going to get very interesting.I remember during the last gas shortage laws were changed where only vehicles with licence plates ending with an even number could fill up on an even day , and plates ending with an odd number could fill up on days ending with an odd number.Resort destinations advertised "come on out, we have plenty of gas out here".Few went. The local news station says dont drive your car this holiday-- just wash it instead .
