Are the vanagon Fuel pumps similar[ same?] to the fuel pumps in the

A1šs? [ scirocco, rabbit, etc? ] They can develop a hot cutout problem

When they start going bad... Fuel pump cuts out when it gets hot...

2 hours later after cool down ­ starts working again..

My scirocco had this problem ­like a vampire -

Middle of hot day ­ nogo. Night time ­it was good2go

Camping tomorrow!! Woo woo! Dutch oven spare ribs and deep friend turkey!

Wouldn't hurt to throw in some dryers (HEET/gas-line antifreeze/whatever you want to call it) as well as some injector cleaner. Cheers, Doug
