Just a post for the archives I was picking up a gasket seal kit today
& the  OEM part shop I use suggested a product from WURT 'Rubber care'

to lube up the plastic vent insert & the filler pipe


They also suggested to use a
PERMATEX HYLOMAR HPF Gasket

to seal the gromets/filler gasket
