Subject: 5 speed DX trans, which mount holes?

When mounting my 5 speed DX trans in my '88, I used the same mounting holes on the frame as the WBX 4 speed which came out, at the nose cone end. Now that I've hooked up the CVs, it appears I need to use the 4 holes about 1.5" to the left (driver side) in the frame cross member, since the driver side CVs are fully extended, and the pass side are not. I've dropped the nose onto a jack, and am trying to coax it over, but it doesn't want to move more than 1/2" of so. I'm assuming moving the nose is the only way I'm going to fix the CV alignment issue, but before I hook up the hoist and loosen all the mounts so I can move it over, can someone please confirm that I need to use the driver side set of 4 holes for a 5 speed? Thanks!
