my pump had over 30k on it, and it was a cheep pump SO it was time to replace, if you heard the noise this puppy put of it would scare anyone of Stans cats away. ;)

i have been looking for leaks, and will for sometime before feeling that everything came togther ok. it a tricky job.

Seriously now, before you remove the new pump, dump in some stop leak. Atleast this will tell you a few things.If you have a rubber hose leak, it wont work. If you have a bad water pump seal(which I think you are fretting about) it wont work. If it is a bad connection,gasket, or something that you did , it will probably work,and fix your problem.Lot less labor intensive.
