Two stroke oil is designed to be burnt and is extremely thin when warmed. It does not have any of the additives that 4 stroke crank oil needs for bearings and longevity. I would consider it to be dumb and it is definitely myth on improving operations. You want thin change to a light synth and get the needed additives to keep the engine running on good oil longer. jimt
