it's the closest that this group gets to most of the US.
With Montreal only 1.5hours from ALbany NY, and less then 4 from
syracuse, NY
I'll be there in my outlaw ASI camper. with a few VWCCNY campers.

the Valleyfield event is West of Montreal. Just before getting on the
island of Montreal
The IWCCC members are mostly French speaking and you will not hear
much
English spoken BUT Frank Condelli , Joel Cort & I will be there as
well as a few other English speaking persons.
the organisers and workers at the event do speak English.
You will definitely be a foreigner but that should be fun amongst 300 ~
400 other campers !
Here is some information:
Directions: Take highway 401, which becomes highway 20 in Quebec. Take
exit 14, Valleyfield (pont Mgr Langlois). Cross the bridge and at the
first
intersection at the end of the bridge, make a left turn on boul. du
Bord-de-l'eau until the first stop sign. Then turn left at the stop et
cross the small bridge to go onto the island. Continue until the end
of
the road straight infront and you will arrive in the Camp Bosco parking
lot.

Prices (CAD$): 1 night=30$, 2 nights=40$, 3 nights=50$, each additional
night=10$
Some sites have electricity.
Payment is cash only (no credit or debit cards). There is an ATM
nearby.
IMPORTANT: this is not really a campground. There is no drinkable
water.
You have to bring your own provision of water. A water supply truck may
be
coming on Saturday (10 September). But not confirmed yet. Also, there
are
no concession stands (grocery store or diner). So bring your own food.
The town is not far away though (easily accessible by bike or with your
vehicle).

great Buses by the buoy.
