JP I did my shocks 2 years ago... VW CDN sent me the wrong Front shocks... 3.... that's THREE times. No matter how many times I told them it was a SYNCRO... I gave them the correct Numbers 3 times... they... in their high mindedness..... corrected my mistakes...cause I couldn't know what's right without a EKTA... I have an EKTA... plus a BUS DEPOT catalog with Numbers that match my EKTA... Do yourself a big favor.. when it's for a Syncro.... get the correct parts for yourself BEFORE you start working with someone who knows better than you do... and yes VW CDN wants like a $1,ooo....a grand for the labour to do your shocks... and then they still can't figure out how to get your drivers seat back into it's track correctly.... and any of our good list suppliers... who knows what a Syncro is, will get the right parts to you in 10-15 days (normal delivery by usps to CDN) at a better price than the stealer.... in CDN, VW doesn't like to see Syncros unless they have money falling out their doors like an AUDI TT owner should.

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how much time should a professionnal mechanic take to install two new front shocks on my 91 syncro?

Also wants to sell me Boge shock at 450$ CDN. I don't know if they're the same model but Bus-Depot sells them for 99$ US each which turn to be around 250 CDN $
