Robert: That's what I thought after the one on my 80 Vanagon went missing. I figure, pay $12 for a $5 cap and be done with it! I guess not! The VW parts guy couldn't find it on the system. Luckily, a very sharp and nice guy on this list GAVE me one! My first choice would still be one of the list vendors. I've had very good luck with them. Al Brase
