The radios were never really intended to be items that could be serviced. It is just cheaper and more efficient to replace the radio. There are plenty of good ones on the market with a wide variety of features and functions to choose from. They can usually be found for a good price too.

P.S. You said that the night light doesn't work any more. I can go yout one better. My wife drives an '87 Volvo 760 Turbo. The complete display has failed on it. You have to know what is programmed into each radio button. Going out of town is especially fun. If you know the station you want to listen to you have to carefully count how many times the tuning knob "clicks" as you turn it so that you will have an idea of what station you are on.
