Subject: Poptop roof struts, stress lines in fiberglass roof
Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Hi My fiberglass roof is showing some stress lines around the roof anchor bolts on the 2 sides where the roof raiser attaches..

I was going to get 4 3/16 aluminum plates fabricated with 4 bolt holes in the 4 corners for the 2 ouside plates then 6 bolt holes for the 2 inside plates I would attach the inside plate to existing roof raiser then drill out new holes for the four coners ...

just curious if ppl have had the same issue & what they did to fix if similar fix what size plates did you fabricate ?
