Take the power directly off the alternator. Just like it is done 86 and later.

I'm getting ready to put together the wiring for the custom AC in my Doka.

The Evap unit I am going to use has a 30A fuse in the +12V wire, built into the unit.

Not knowing the fuse block in the Vanagons very well, I'd like to know where I can tie in for the +12. I pulled off the fuse cover, '89, and it has nothing listed for AC on the inside of that cover.

I'm tempted to just run a separate, (also 30A fused wire), from the battery to under the dash for future needs as well.

Any feedback?
