Subject: Adjusting 2nd Gear band in Auto Trans
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Has anyone any advice on adjusting the band in an '86 auto trans?

The Bentley manual isn't all that helpful for an operating transmission. . (I think it assumes a new installation). . . . especially when the adjuster screw is usually fixed in with Lock-tight. Then it is almost impossible to do anything with the light tensions recommended.

What do others do?

Thanks

Dave
