The VIN for my '84 ends in 0252EH082801 with a build date of 02/84. It has the two throttle switches.

If you are going to keep the van, plan on replacing everything that is involved with fuel, air, vacuum, coolant and electrons. Do the work yourself and you will learn much about your van.
