Bad news.. Hugging trees doesnąt work with most bears. Most bears in North America are Black bears and they are very good at climbing. If the bear is rather large and doesnąt climb the tree then hug for your life. It might be the rarer grizzly and they tend to shake trees a bit. Twin M2 would probably just irritate it. Of course the exception is the untreed areas of alaska and if the bear is extremely large and brown or extremely large and white. Areas that I was in and saw those bears there wasnąt a tree for many many miles. (fond memories of a short trip to shemya and a woman behind every tree. Also a warm friendly place somewhere east of point barrow.) jimt On 9/16/05 8:59 PM, "Evan Mac Donald" <macdonald1987@SBCGLOBAL.NET> wrote: > HEY HEY there- I Hate granola, and I would only hug a tree to save myself from > a bear!
